Plata Pay – Colombia

Plata Pay is our registered trademark in Colombia. The stacked lockup is its primary form and the default choice for everything we publish — campaigns, digital, print, social and partner materials.

Two alignments are available:
Centered — default lockup.
Left-aligned — when better alignment with surrounding content is needed.

Primary logo proportions

"Pay" is an integral part of the trademark and must always stay clearly visible. Its height is never less than 70% of the height of Plata.

If the layout does not allow "Pay" to stay this size, the lockup is too small for that placement — use the reduced logo instead.

The horizontal Plata Pay lockup is the registered form of the trademark. Use it for contracts, terms and conditions, and official documentation.

In legal materials, always use the full horizontal version — never stacked, never reduced. Use the artwork exactly as supplied.

Below 16 dp on screen or 10 mm in print, the full lockup stops reading. At these sizes use the Plata wordmark on its own — app icons, favicons, small UI.

It’s a size fallback, not a second logo. If the full lockup fits, use it — and never in legal materials.

Color options

Orange is the default. Use the orange logo wherever the background allows it: on white, on black, on photography and on colour.

White and black versions exist only for the cases where orange cannot work: white on an orange background, black for single-colour print.

❌ Don’t do

White Plata Pay logo over a lifestyle photo, crossed out — incorrect use of the Banco Plata Colombia logo on a photographic background

Don’t use the white logo on dark or photographic backgrounds.

Orange has enough contrast on its own, and white reads as a different brand.

Safe area

Safe areas of the logotype are defined as the same as the height of the letter P.

For two-row logos follow the same rule — the clear space around the stacked Plata Pay lockup is also one P height on every side.
